Brahmagiri Women’s Livelihood Program

As a part of the Bramhagiri Women’s livelihood program, Tanishka began work for the technical education of girls who have passed grade 10th. This program was launched with the aim of equipping them with required skills and providing them guaranteed employment after the completion of the two-year course.

The Principal of the Government ITI institute, Mr. Baviskar, along with his team accompanied the Sakal Social Foundation team to the hamlets to educate the girls and their parents about the diverse courses available for them, the process and employment options. About 25 young minds attended this orientation session and were thrilled to collect their forms to study further.

A visit was also arranged to the ITI campus and hostel to provide them onsite understanding and experience, and also initiate their admission process.
