About The Event

The Satsang Foundation is active across education, health, and environment (of which water and tree plantation are two key pillars), and is deeply concerned about creating a sustainable water future. “The Revival of Rivers and Water Management” is one the key C20 Working Groups, which is being steered by The Satsang Foundation. We are organizing a conclave on 11th and 12th March, at Pune. The conclave will bring together civil society leaders, policy makers, academics, and industry professionals from around the world to address the pressing issue of water scarcity and to share innovative solutions for sustainable water management in the face of climate change. We believe that your participation will not only add value to the conference but will also provide an opportunity for you to share your work, research and ideas with a global audience.

About Sri M

Sri M – spiritual guide, social reformer, educationist, author and global speaker – was born Mumtaz Ali in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. At the age of nineteen, Sri M embarked on a journey to seek a true Master.

Maheshwarnath Babaji – a senior disciple of Sri Guru Babaji – took Sri M under his tutelage. As instructed by his Guru, Sri M returned to the plains and established The Satsang Foundation more than twenty years ago. The Foundation actively conceptualizes, organizes, and executes activities and initiatives in the area of Education, Health, Skill Development, Environment, and Service to Mankind. Sri M walked 7,500 km in 2015-16 from Kanyakumari to Kashmir to spread the message of peace and harmony.

He is the Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, a Central University, and the Faculty of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Sri M was conferred with the Padma Bhushan in January 2020 for distinguished service of high order in spirituality.

The Satsang Foundation—established by Sri M, is a meeting point for spiritual seekers of all persuasions.
